To open an account with Family 1st of Texas Federal Credit Union, you must first become a member of the Credit Union. 

Membership Eligibility

Membership at Family 1st of Texas Federal Credit Union, is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in sections of Downtown and Northeast Fort Worth. 

Membership is also open to postal employees and their families in more than 19 counties in Texas.

Family 1st of Texas Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. That means you are not a customer, you're a member owner with a vote and a voice at the Credit Union. 

While we're like a bank in terms of the accounts, loans, and services we provide, we aren't in the business of making money at your expense. As a not-for-profit financial institution, once the Credit Union's expenses are met, we return profits back to our members in the form of higher dividends and lower rates and fees.
